NMB Bank is taking the lead in promoting clean cooking solutions across Tanzania. With a strong commitment to improving health, environmental sustainability, and social welfare, the bank has allocated TZS 100 billion in loans to support businesses and projects that distribute clean cooking technologies.
As part of this initiative, NMB will also collaborate with Taifa Gas Tanzania through the NMB Kijiji Day platform to educate 2,000 villages on the importance of adopting clean cooking practices by the end of 2025.

- Affordable interest rates: 1% per month (12% annually, reducing balance with an effective rate of 6.6%).
- Flexible loan limits: Up to TZS 1 billion per business, ensuring broad access.
- Convenient loan tenures: Up to 2 years, tailored to meet business needs.
