When did you join Arise and why?
I joined Arise in January 2017. What was attractive about the role was the opportunity to not only join a new company but to also be part of the succession planning of the company. In addition, it provided an exciting and challenging career opportunity.
What does your role at Arise entail?
My primary role entails providing support and administrative assistance to the Chief Executive Officer. In addition to this role, I am also responsible for overseeing the daily office operations and managing all external service providers and contractors.
What aspect of your job do you enjoy?
I enjoy interacting with my colleagues and providing assistance and support when needed. My role entails me working across various aspects related to the seamless running of the office and I enjoy the challenges that each day presents.
What has your top 3 highlights been?
• Our annual trips to Amsterdam
• Being able to provide personal assistance to the CEO.
• The acquisition of new investments such as Ecobank.
What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
The ability to ensure that the CEO has everything that is required to be able to execute his duties.
